Location: Airmont, NY
We’re looking for a motivated individual to become a key member of a growing organization, which has recently relocated to a larger facility under new ownership and management. If you have experience in order processing, inventory management, and forklift operation, this is your chance to elevate your career with a dynamic and expanding company.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in English
- Basic computer skills
- 1-2 years of experience in shipping and inventory management
- Proven ability to safely operate a forklift, including loading and unloading trailers and managing inventory on multi-tiered warehouse shelving
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime on short notice, including evenings and weekends
- Reliable personal transportation for independent commuting, particularly for evening or weekend shifts
- Forklift Operations: Safely load and unload trailers, move pallets, and manage inventory on multiple shelving levels.
- Shipping: Pull, pack, and stage orders; process shipments using our ERP system; inspect outgoing shipments; maintain shipping materials inventory; and manage customer will-call orders.
- Receiving: Receive, label, inspect, and store incoming shipments; process inventory using the ERP system; maintain accurate records; and assist with scheduling and coordinating container deliveries.
- Competitive pay: $21/hour
- Standard schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:30 pm, with flexibility for evening or Saturday hours as needed
