Job Description
Digital Press Technician (Imaging Experience)Seasonal Opportunity with Potential for Full-Time Media Firm seeks a Print Finishing Technician with expertise in digital print finishing and imaging experience to join our team. In this role, you will operate and maintain digital press equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This hands-on position requires strong keyboard skills for digital image editing and familiarity with digital printing equipment. Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain digital print equipment, experience with HP Indigo Press 5600 and 7900 preferred.
- Perform color management tasks to ensure accurate finishing of printed material.
- Monitor finishing quality and make necessary adjustments during production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during finishing processes.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to prepare artwork for finishing.
- Perform routine maintenance on finishing equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Experience as a Print Finishing Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of digital printing processes and imaging techniques
- Familiarity with image editing and file preparation.
- Understanding of color management principles and practices (preferred)
- Experience with fabricating and assembling printed materials (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high print quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
