Digital Press Operator (Trainee) — 2nd ShiftLocation: Northvale, NJ Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (Temp-to-Full-Time)Shift: 2nd Shift — 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday - Friday Starting Wage: $19.00 per hourPosition SummaryThis position is a Digital Print Operator trainee role designed for candidates with strong computer skills who are eager to learn hands-on digital printing technology. The trainee will be trained to set up and operate digital vinyl printers and to configure print jobs using XML or JDF-type digital imaging code formats. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build technical and production experience in a modern manufacturing environment. The role supports the digital vinyl printing and labeling process, including preparation of bulk materials, job setup, and coordination of output for production. Work involves labeling, lifting, and organizing materials in a fast-paced and team-oriented setting. Key Responsibilities
- Learn to set up and operate digital vinyl printers.
- Be trained to configure print jobs using XML or JDF-type formatted coding.
- Forward completed, printed vinyl items to production.
- Assist production teams with material restocking and setup.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Strong computer skills required.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle material movement as needed.
- Able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Basic ability to read numbers and product labels accurately.
- Ability to read English instructions.
