TIG WELDER - 2nd Shift

Exciting Opportunity: Welder (2nd Shift) Are you an experienced welder looking for a new challenge? Join our team at an independently owned lighting company located in Wayne, New Jersey! We're seeking a skilled Welder to join our fabrication department and contribute to the creation of high-quality products. As a Welder, you'll be responsible for operating various fabrication machines and performing manual welding tasks. You'll also have the opportunity to work with advanced equipment, including the Mig-Weld Robot and Spot-Weld equipment. Your primary goal will be to produce precise and durable parts according to work assignment descriptions. This is a temp-to-hire position with a 60-day probation period. You'll work the 2nd shift from 3:15 pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime hours. The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 18 months of experience in a similar industry
- Proficiency in Tig/Mig welding techniques
- Experience welding aluminum extrusions to precise dimensions.
- Ability to cut aluminum extrusions to precise lengths and angles.
- Familiarity with using miter saws, grinders, and measuring equipment.
- Skill in prepping materials for painting using sanding equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
