Job Title: Mechanic, Packaging Equipment
Location: Wayne, NJ Area
Introduction:
DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY. A local manufacturer and distributor of beverage products, with operations based in the Wayne, NJ area, is seeking a full-time Mechanic. This role involves maintaining and repairing packaging and processing equipment including sensors and electronic controls and computer skills for packaging technology. The ideal candidate will also have mechanical aptitude with skills in plumbing, electrical work, and building maintenance. Job Responsibilities:

This role involves maintaining and repairing packaging and processing equipment including sensors and electronic controls and computer skills for packaging technology. The ideal candidate will also have mechanical aptitude with skills in plumbing, electrical work, and building maintenance. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform facility maintenance, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair packaging and processing equipment, including electronic controls, sensors, and computer interfaces.
- Assist in the design, and repair of customized beverage dispensing systems.
- Maintain and operate pumps and other related mechanical systems
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- $34.00/hour starting wage

- Consistent year-round employment
- Prior experience operating and maintaining food packaging equipment is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
- Working knowledge of electronics, controls, pneumatics, and electrical systems is a plus
- Proficient with computer-based equipment and systems
- Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-focused with a strong work ethic
- Must pass a drug test
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
